You will contribute to the success of our new five-year strategy by leading and implementing a marketing plan to grow audiences, raise profile and improve perception in a highly competitive environment.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about S4C’s content and has an innovative digital vision to engage and connect with new audiences.
What will you do?
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Marketing, you will lead teams of creative individuals with diverse expertise, including a marketing team coordinating campaigns across platforms and a creative team producing promotional assets.
As Head of Marketing, you will be part of a senior leadership team working closely with:
- Head of Communications
- Head of Streaming and Digital
- Head of Audience Research
With support from team leaders, you will implement an ambitious marketing plan aligned with promotional strategy and drive digital innovation to attract new audiences and increase viewing.
This is a high-profile role requiring strong internal and external relationship building, including working with production companies and stakeholders. Internally, you will promote S4C’s Code of Culture, fairness and inclusion across all work.

- Location: Carmarthen / Cardiff / Caernarfon (minimum 3 days in office)
- Salary: £63,457 per annum
- Contract: Permanent
- Working hours: 35.75 per week (flexibility required, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays)
- Probation period: 6 months
- Holidays: 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time)
- Pension: 10% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution
- Travel: Required within the UK
