Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer


Llangefni Town Council is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to undertake the dual role of Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer, overseeing the Council’s statutory, administrative, and financial operations.



The ideal candidate will possess strong literacy, numeracy, communication, and IT skills, and be an honest, impartial, and objective person.



Remuneration will be based on the NJC/SLCC pay scale, Points 37 to 39 (£25.00 to £26.06 per hour - £48,100 to £50,139 per annum), depending on experience and qualifications. A workplace pension is available if desired.


There are 5 members, and all meetings are conducted in Welsh. The precept for 2026/27 is £361,000.

A background in local government administration and/or finance would be an advantage.
