- THE ROLE -

The Social Media Officer’s primary role is to support the Marketing team with the planning, organisation and delivery of bilingual social media activity that attracts prospective students to study with the University. The role will primarily focus on creating and scheduling different types of bilingual content that encourages positive engagement with the University across its suite of Welsh and English social media platforms.
Reporting to the Social Media Manager, they will also be expected to build close professional relationships with stakeholders throughout UWTSD to ensure a proactive and planned approach to all of the University’s social media activity.
The Social Media Officer will be responsible for overseeing a group of Content Creators.
The Social Media Officer’s primary location will be in either Carmarthen or Swansea. However, the post holder may also be required to visit other UWTSD campuses to provide advice and guidance to colleagues.
