To do this, we lead on developing and regulating the social care workforce, service improvement, data and research to improve care.

We are now looking for a Process and Improvement Lead to join us on a fixed-term contract until 30th April 2026, with the possibility of extension. This role is offered with flexible working options, and we will consider candidates as part of a job share.

You must be based in the UK to apply for this role and be able to visit one of the stated offices when required.

The Role

As our Process and Improvement Lead, you’ll help to shape how social care data is captured, processed, and used across Wales.

Specifically, you’ll lead projects that identify challenges in the way data is captured and work with users to design and build scalable solutions, improve processes and enhance service design in order to drive better outcomes for people accessing social care.

Working closely with professionals and partner organisations, you’ll collaborate with an external supplier to deliver a rapid discovery project, as well as working with external organisations to gather insights to create actionable recommendations and pilot projects.

About You

To join us as our Process and Improvement Lead, you will need:

- Experience in a service design, change management or business analyst role
- Experience of service standards, data/digital transformation, and systems integration
- Experience utilising user-centred approaches in large-scale transformation projects
- Experience of service design, user-centred design, and service transformation, evidenced by a relevant degree, post-graduate qualification and/or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles of service design and whole systems thinking
- Knowledge of systems and data and the challenges faced by health and social care organisations in capturing, maintaining and using their data effectively
