About the Role

As a Maths Lecturer at Coleg Cambria, you will:

Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to learners across a range of programmes and levels,

Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements,

Support learners in developing their numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills,

Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,

Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment,

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure learners achieve successful outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

A relevant qualification in Mathematics or a closely related subject,

Experience teaching Maths within Further Education, secondary education, training, or a related setting,

Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and curriculum requirements,

Excellent communication and organisational skills,

A passion for supporting and developing learners of all abilities,

A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable, along with a valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
