About Us
Snowdonia National Park Authority (ENPA) protects the natural beauty, wildlife, and cultural heritage of Snowdonia National Park. Covering 823 square miles, the park is home to the highest mountain in Wales, the largest natural lake in Wales, and over 26,000 people.
We are now looking for a Hospitality Services Officer to join us for a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week across five days. This will be over seven days, including weekend working.
Welsh language skills are essential for the job. Please read the job description for the exact level required for this job role.

The Role
As a Hospitality Services Officer, you will provide high-quality catering and guest services at Plas Tan y Bwlch National Park Centre.
Plas Tan y Bwlch offers accommodation to individuals and groups and boasts an on-site café/restaurant that caters to a wide range of tastes and budgets.
Specifically, your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold meals and beverages, cleaning and maintaining guest areas, and providing a professional and welcoming service to all visitors.
Supporting smooth daily operations, you will also:
- Ensure guests' dietary requirements are met
- Receive and check deliveries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent guest experiences
- Respond flexibly to service needs, including evening and weekend shifts on a rota basis
About You
To be considered as a Hospitality Services Officer, you will need:
- The ability to communicate in English and Welsh
- Experience working in a similar commercial kitchen environment or to be qualified with City and Guilds 706/2 or equivalent
- A Basic Food, Health and Hygiene Certificate
- Experience in the preparation of meals for special diets
