We are now looking for a Front End Developer to join us on a fixed-term contract until 31st October 2026, with the possibility of extension. This role is offered with flexible working options, and we will consider candidates as part of a job share.
You must be based in the UK to apply for this role and be able to visit one of the stated offices when required.

The Role
As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our web estate.
Specifically, you will create user-centred digital products and tools that support national programmes, and design, build and iterate websites and services using a user-led, data-informed approach.
Working collaboratively with the Communications, Marketing and Digital teams, you’ll develop high-quality code, integrate digital assets, and ensure products are responsive, performant and aligned with organisational identity and standards.
Additionally, you will:
- Test, review and resolve issues across all digital products
- Develop integrations with social media platforms to reach core audiences
- Provide expert guidance to colleagues
About You
To be considered as a Front End Developer, you will need:
- Experience as a Front End Developer
- Experience writing clean, well-structured code in HTML, JavaScript and CSS
- Experience developing within a CMS such as Craft, Joomla, WordPress, etc.
- Experience testing websites and digital products for accessibility and functionality, and identifying and fixing bugs
- A broad understanding of web development programming languages
- A degree or relevant experience in multimedia, computer science, web development, etc.
